More about me.

For years, I worked in a demanding career. I was successful yet I grew restless. Intuitively, I began turning towards teachings and traditions rooted in my Mexican culture.
From that more grounded place, I found my way to coaching and Purpose Guiding, as I continued to deepen my knowledge about Indigenous ways of knowing and being.




In my childhood, my grandmother was a strong, spiritual presence. She taught me to garden and instilled in me a reverence for nature.
The name ~ Coaching for Pura Vida ~ came about because of my father. On the surface, he was successful. Yet privately, he struggled with alcoholism. When people asked him how's it going, he'd answer, Pura Vida - It's wonderful. I grew to understand he didn’t just mean the gifts and the beauty-- he meant all of his journey, the pain and challenges, the ups and downs.
Today, one of my key practices is soul walks - communing with nature in solitude, and looking to the natural world for wisdom and guidance.


I approach people as whole, integrated beings, made up of mind, body, soul, and spirit.
As a coach, I'm here to be a guide for others who are struggling, feel stuck and want to find their own sense of purpose and figure out who they are.

I'm grounded in my Mexican culture and my beloved Los Angeles community, as well as the history and nature of the Southwest.
